Cheyenne and Arapaho Television - CATV47 (K47MU-D) is excited to now be an FNX affiliate station.
CATV47 is the first and only Native owned and operated broadcast TV Station in Oklahoma, and we¹re proud to offer our viewing audience high quality Native programming from First Nations Experience.
While Oklahoma is the home of almost forty tribes, Native American TV programming has been nearly non-existent in this state.
Now, FNX programming helps CATV47 fulfill its mission of presenting positive images and impressions of Native Americans. Cheyenne and Arapaho TV looks forward to an enduring partnership with FNX.

"Native Oklahoma" is a collaborative effort between several Oklahoma Native American tribes and OETA Oklahoma Educational Television Authority PBS station. Comprised of several video stories produced by the Cherokee, Cheyenne and Arapaho, Choctaw, Osage, Kiowa (by Charles "Boots" Kennedye at OETA) and Ponca tribes, the final show was compiled and edited by the CATV47 Cheyenne and Arapaho Television in Concho, OK.

This is a show that Cheyenne and Arapaho Television produced in collaboration with OETA and the Cherokee, Cheyenne and Arapaho, Choctaw, Kiowa, Osage and Ponca Tribes. Here are the air dates and times on OETA.
"Native Oklahoma" is a collection of different stories from each of the participating tribes. It is a historical broadcast event. It is the first time that multiple tribes have collaborated on such a video project.
This project began when CATV47 initiated a conversation with Dan Schiedel the Executive Director at OETA.
Dan then brought together representatives from the media departments of several tribes in a meeting.
From there, 6 tribes including the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes decided to participate in this effort of creating “Native Oklahoma”. Cheyenne and Arapaho Television took the lead on producing this show.
It is a variety of different styles of videos submitted by each tribe and Cheyenne and Arapaho Television put them together.
CATV47’s own Darren Brown hosts the show and introduces each video.
Hopefully this will be the first of many such productions. We hope you enjoy it!
